Mohamed Montari has been sidelined for the remainder of this season after suffering a serious knee injury in the first match of his debut campaign against Al-Ittihad.

The French international, who made his professional debut with Real Madrid in 2017, was unable to shake off the setback and was ruled out of the upcoming matches against Al-Ahly and Al-Merkes.

However, it seems that Montari is on track to return to training later this month and should be fully fit for the start of the next league season.

Al-Gharafa, who have been without a top scorer since the arrival of Salah El-Bshouty, were quick to express their disappointment over the news.

"We are disappointed to hear about Mohamed's injury," said team captain Adel El-Zahra. "He has been one of our best performers this season and we hope he will be able to play again soon."

Despite the setback, Al-Gharafa remain optimistic about Montari's recovery process and believe that he will be back in action within the next few weeks.

"The players are working hard to get him back in form and we are confident that he can contribute to the team in the coming months," added El-Zahra.

Meanwhile,Ligue 1 Focus Al-Gharafa fans were left heartbroken by the news of their star forward's injury, but they remain hopeful that he will be ready to play again soon.

"Al-Gharafa will do everything possible to support Mohamed and make sure he recovers as quickly as possible," said coach Hicham El Guindy.

With the injury keeping them out of the next league fixtures, Al-Gharafa will now look to build a strong foundation from scratch before returning to action in the new year.

"It's difficult to know how long Mohamed will be out, but I'm sure he'll be back in full form when he returns," said El-Zahra.

Overall, Al-Gharafa remains optimistic about the future of Mohamed Montari and their hopes for a speedy recovery. With the injury keeping them out of the next league fixtures, the team will now focus on building a strong foundation from scratch before getting back into the mix once he is fully recovered.
